  • Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc 2012

    $ 1,109.00 Add to cart

    The complex floral and white fruit bouquet features hints of citrus, peach, almond, and acacia. The wine starts off quite smooth and full-bodied on the palate with a freshness that carries the flavour through to a fine long aftertaste. However, this freshness is not overwhelming because the wine is also rich and powerful. This is unquestionably a great year for dry white wines

    Wine Advocate , 29th Oct 2016

    The 2013 Clinet was one of the better wines that I tasted from barrel. Indeed both Robert Parker and I scored this Pomerol around the same mark and now it is in bottle, it has fulfilled my expectations as a delicious, easy-going, but still well-crafted wine from Ronan Laborde. It has a delicate but precise bouquet that gains intensity in the glass, cassis and a touch of wild mint, ground pepper emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly grainy tannin that need another 12-18 months to soften, however there is adequate fruit underneath with a linear, slightly sappy finish. Enjoy this over the next 10-12 years.

  • Chateau Du Tertre 2015

  • Chateau Du Tertre 2013

    The du Tertre has a focused bouquet of red berries and rose petals, nicely defined even if it does lack intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins on the entry. It is missing finesse and delineation, although it does have satisfactory length. Tasted April 2014

  • Chateau Angelus 2019

    $ 679.00 Add to cart

    A brilliant, intense, almost dark purple colour. The cornerstone on which this vintage is built is its great aromatic purity. Black fruit and wild cherry notes come bursting to the fore, while the oak is already completely integrated. The attack on the palate is suave, while the smooth, round and enveloping tannins are cashmere-like in texture. Thanks to the homogeneously high quality of the Cabernet Franc, the finish displays notes of spice and menthol, together with lovely freshness and tension. This wine is the mirror-image of the Angélus terroir: chiselled and precise. It also offers immediate tasting appeal, which complements well the wine’s elegant style. This wine will go down as one of the great Angélus vintages.

  • Château Ormes de Pez 1988

    $ 159.00 Add to cart
    (09-1994) Burgundy red color. Dark. Good intensity. Slight evolution. Young. Nose of medium intensity. Fruit nuances associated with a note of undergrowth reminiscent of a bouquet. Quite linden. Clean and soft attack developing on a round structure, which tastes like tobacco. Slow, very well-balanced tannic evolution, towards a powerful and spicy finish where the grain of the tannin is coated. Good spicy length. Can be drunk. In my opinion keep it a bit. Well made wine.
  • CHATEAU FIEUZAL 1986

    $ 159.00 Read more

    Outer quote mark This vintage is decidedly mixed in the southern part of the Pessac-Leognan appellation, but Fieuzal has turned in a fine effort. The wine still retains a youthful, deep ruby/purple color with purple nuances. The nose is more backward than recent Fieuzal vintages, displaying earth, spice, new oak, and moderately sweet black currant and cranberry fruit. It is a medium-bodied wine with high tannin. This Fieuzal has evolved at a glacial pace and should have a long life.
